WASITIRI: Bweranyange Girls
Secondary Mission
The Wasitiri campaign extends its reach to the historical landscape of Karagwe. We are setting out to support 300 school-girls with essential sanitary pads and menstrual health education at Bweranyange Girls Secondary School.
Campaign Launch: October 2024 at KCU Hall
The inaugural "Wasitiri" Campaign was officially launched at the KCU Hall in Bukoba by Hon. Fatma Mwassa, then Regional Commissioner for Kagera. The ceremony was graced by powerful performances from four choirs, who filled the hall with sacred and campaign music centered on the theme of "deeds of mercy."
